Teens that are 16 years or older by June 2025, are invited to join God where He is working in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico this summer! That is right, we're going international to be the hands and feet of Jesus with new ministry partners Frank and Rebecca in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The exact dates are subject to change slightly, pending flight reservations.

Quick Overview
  • June 24 - July 3, 2025 (Subject to change)
  • Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
  • Trip Cost: $1,700
  • Ministry Partners: Frank & Rebecca Arellanes
  • Students will be ministering through a wide variety of activities including landscape and maintenance projects on land that will be built into a ministry camp site, hosting outreach activities for neighborhood kids, outdoor evangelism, and more.
  • Application due date Wednesday, February 16th; includes a refundable $100 deposit, youth and parent form that are separate links
  • Space is limited and priority will be given to regular attenders of GrowthGroups, Refuel and with High School seniority. 
  • There will be a monthly team meetings that are required for team preparations, first meeting is March 12th at 7pm
    • Sun, March 12th – First Team Meeting
    • Sun, April 13th – Second Team Meeting
    • Sun, May 18th – Fourth Team Meeting
    • Sun, June 15th – Final Team Meeting
    • Tues, June 18th or Wed, June 19th – Prayer Sendoff (TBD)
    • June 24th – July 3rd – Trip
    • Friday, July 12th – Trip Debrief & BBQ
      • Dates are subject to change but to the best of our planning ability these will be the time we meet.

Meet Frank & Rebecca Arellanes

Long-term missionaries in Mexico, Frank and Rebecca have a heart for seeing God's will done throughout Mexico. They have planted several churches in and around Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara, and engage in discipleship and shepherding ministries with those churches.

Frank and Rebecca have built relationships through both individual mentorship and discipleship groups. Their goal isn't to do ministry in Mexico, but rather to train locals to do ministry and pastor churches.

  1. Complete electronic or paper interest form to let us know you are prayerfully considering going!
  2. Summit an application, due by Wednesday, February 5th
    1. Youth Application, requires a $100 refundable deposit
    2. Parent Acknowledgement Form
  3. Hear back from Christian Pfening by the end of February for acceptance to the team. There are limited spots on this trip and priority will be given to those who regularly attend Crossover, Youth GrowthGroups, Refuel and seniority so our oldest students have an opportunity to go this year.
  4. On the team? Attend first team gathering, last week of February in the FLC.
