Destination: Kigali, Rwanda and surrounding villages
Team Leaders: Matt and Nichole Kaiser
Trip cost: $1650 plus airfare (around $3500 total)
Team members will be participating in a variety of ministry opportunities over the course of the trip, focusing primarily on discipleship (men, women, youth, children, couples, etc). They will also have a chance to experience the life of a typical Rwandan through manual labor tasks and visiting villagers in their homes. Additional activities include worshipping with the African church on Sunday morning, serving the children enrolled in the child sponsorship program, and experiencing culture through the Genocide Memorials.
Team size: 15 people maximum
There will be mandatory monthly team meetings leading up to the trip. These meetings are designed to build team unity, spiritual preparedness, and plan ministry activities. The first meeting will be held on Sunday September 22nd from 1-4 pm in the Café. The rest of the dates will be established at that meeting.
